Harris and Trump hit battleground states, Biden clarifies ‘garbage’ comment | Election day countdown

Former President Donald Trump attacked President Biden for a comment in which he appeared to call Trump supporters "garbage." Mr. Biden later clarified that he wasn’t referring to all Trump supporters but to the comedian at a Trump rally who made a hateful comment about Puerto Rico. NBC News’ Garrett Haake reports. Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin after painting a stark contrast with former President Trump during closing arguments at her rally in Washington. Harris tried to appeal to men who support former President Trump in greater numbers than women. NBC News’ Peter Alexander reports. Despite claims by former President Trump and his allies that there have been issues in Pennsylvania including voters being turned away and fraudulent ballots, there is no evidence of widespread fraud in the state.
