Democrats rally behind Harris after Biden exits as Trump campaign pivots attacks

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi became one of the latest top Democrats to support Vice President Kamala Harris in her presidential bid, a day after President Biden dropped his campaign and endorsed Harris. The vice president praised Mr. Biden’s leadership and was greeted with cheers at what is now her campaign headquarters in Delaware. The Trump campaign has begun to change its focus after running for more than 600 days against President Biden.
