Alito declines to recuse himself in cases involving Trump and Jan. 6
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito said he would not recuse himself in cases related to former President Donald Trump and Jan. 6 defendants. Democrats had pressed Alito to do so after controversial flags were flown at his homes in Virginia and New Jersey. Alito said it was his wife’s idea to fly the flags.
