Supreme Court considers whether police used excessive force in Texas case
The Supreme Court heard arguments on whether a Texas police officer used excessive force when he shot and killed a man who tried to escape during a traffic stop. A grand jury declined to indict the officer on criminal charges, but the man’s mother filed a civil suit that made its way to the Supreme Court.
