Trump defends Jan. 6 pardons after first prisoners are released
President Trump defended his decision to pardon most of the Jan. 6 rioters after the release of the first prisoners got underway. The Trump administration also ordered all federal employees hired in diversity, equity, and inclusion roles to be placed on paid leave.
