যশোর জেলা গোয়েন্দা শাখা ডিবির ৩ টি অভিযানে ১টি ওয়ান শুটারগান ২ রাউন্ড কার্তুজ, ১শ পিচ ইয়াবা ট্যাবলেট ও ৫শ গ্রাম গাঁজা উদ্ধার হয়েছে। এছাড়া মাদকে সংশ্লিষ্টতার অভিযোগে আটক করা হয়েছে ৬ জনকে। এব্যাপারে অস্ত্র ও মাদক আইনে মামলা হয়েছে। জেলা পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, পুলিশ সুপার প্রলয় কুমার জোয়ারদারের নির্দেশনায় গোয়েন্দা শাখার অফিসার ইনচার্জ রুপন কুমার সরকার মাঠে নামেন। তার নেতৃত্বে ৯ মার্চ এসআই আরিফুল ইসলাম, এএসআই নির্মল কুমার ঘোষসহ সংগীয় ফোর্সের সমন্বয়ে একটি চৌকস টিম কোতোয়ালি থানা এলাকায় অভিযান পরিচালনা করেন। এদিন রাতে জেল রোড কুইন্স হাসপাতালের সামনে থেকে ৩ জনকে আটক করা হয়। তারা হলেন তালবাড়িয়ার মৃত ইউনুস আলীর ছেলে ফিরোজ হোসেন (২৮), নুরুল ইসলামের ছেলে আবু সাইদ (৩৫) ও আব্দুল্লাহর ছেলে রফিকুল ইসলাম (৩২)। তাদের দখল থেকে ১শ পিস ইয়াবা ট্যাবলেট উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে।
একই দিন রাতে এসআই শাহিনুর রহমান, এএসআই আশরাফুল ইসলাম, এএসআই নাজমুল ইসলাম ও সংগীয় ফোর্স বেনাপোল পোর্ট থানা এলাকায় অভিযান পরিচালনা করেন। রাত ১০ টার দিকে নারায়ণপুর নতুনপাড়া বাজারের জামালের নির্মাণাধীন বিল্ডিংয়ের সামনে থেকে অস্ত্রসহ দুজনকে আটক করেন। এরা হচ্ছ্ েরঘুনাথপুরের মৃত সিরাজুল ইসলামের ছেলে আব্দুর রউফ ওরফে রব (৪০) ও হাটখোলা মানকিয়ার মৃত ইসলাম শেখের ছেলে আব্দুর রহিম (৩৫)। দেশি একটি ওয়ান শুটারগান ও ২ রাউন্ড কার্তুজ পাওয়া যায় তাদের দখলে।
এদিন রাতে এসআই সাদ্দাম হোসেন, এএসআই রঞ্জন কুমার বসু ঝিকরগাছা থানা এলাকায় অভিযান পরিচালনা করেন। উপজেলার পাল্লা উত্তরপাড়ার রাকাত আলীর বাঁশ বাগানের সামনের পাঁকা রাস্তা থেকে আটক করা হয় শুভ হোসেন (২০) নামে এক যুবককে। সে পাল্লা উত্তরপাড়ার বাবুল হোসেনের ছেলে। উদ্ধার হয় ৫শ গ্রাম গাঁজা।
