CDC investigates deadly E. coli outbreak tied to McDonald’s Quarter Pounders
The CDC is investigating a deadly outbreak of E. coli that has sickened almost 50 people let to the death of one man in Colorado. The CDC says it was first alerted to the problem almost two weeks ago and the number of illness could go up. The outbreak is tied to onions on McDonald’s Quarter Pounder, which the company has stopped selling for now.
