Judge allows Alex Jones to liquidate assets to pay damages to Sandy Hook families
A federal bankruptcy judge let Alex Jones convert his Chapter 11 filing into a liquidation, but dismissed the bankruptcy case against Jones’ company. Jones’s personal assets will be sold to pay toward previously-awarded damages of $1.5 billion to Sandy Hook parents for defamation and emotional distress.
