Columbia University president testifies about antisemitism on campus
The president of Columbia and other leaders at the university were questioned by a House committee investigating Columbia’s response to recent incidents of antisemitism. The president, Nemat "Minouche" Shafik, said free speech must be upheld but "we cannot and shouldn’t tolerate abuse of this privilege to harass and destroy and discriminate."
