Tom Holland reveals one thing he regrets after he took over Andrew Garfield’s role of Spiderman
‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ marked the reunion of actors Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, as they reprised their role as ‘Spiderman’ for the film. The film went on to break box office records especially due to the trio sharing heartwarming scenes and emotional moments.
Now in an interview with a Hollywood portal, Tom Holland recently shared how fortunate he is to share screen space with Garfield, and after which he opens up on having regrets for never reaching out to him about taking over the role of Spiderman, after Garfield starred in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ and ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’. The third installment and the sequels of ‘The Amazing Spider Man’ were canceled.
Andrew Garfield’s performance has been receiving rave reviews after he reprised his role as Spiderman for ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’. Tom said that he ‘could not be any happier for him’.
The 25-year-old actor said how this superhero movie allowed him to make amends with him. “Had someone said to me after my second movie that I was done and this other kid was taking over, I would’ve been heartbroken. So looking back, I wish I had the chance to make amends with him, but this film was our opportunity.”
Tom continued, that working with Garfield was not only an opportunity for him to make peace with the character and the studio, but it was also an opportunity for him and him (Garfield ) to have this moment where they could realize sharing this thing”.
